Hi Yann. Could you take a look at File:Tun Hussein bin Dato Onn.Photo-output.jpg and some other uploads of Santaria Fi? All of the user's uploads are being claimed as "own work", but I'm not sure they all are. The photos of mosques and other buildings do have EXIF data indicating they were taken by an iPhone, but files like File:The flag Federal Territories of Malaysia.png, File:DR Amru Al Haz bin Adnan.jpg, and File:Tan Sri Syeikh Ismail bin Muhammad.jpg do not. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:19, 17 August 2026 (UTC)

About Stenbocki maja

It is difficult for me to download images and write descriptions (Especially copying links and date's time) for each one over and over again. I wonder: why couldn't someone else take on this task—just as users do when adding images from the governments of the UK, the US, Japan, India, and other countries do when publishing images? It is an image that I created personally, without using any references (that is, from scratch), at the request of a user who wanted to use it for their personal profile. Improvements?

Hello Yann, after seeing the mistakes i’ve made awhile back with the copyright issues, i would like to try to do better and know your thoughts on if these are improvements or not, compared to previous uploads, the file uploaded is 1173.KOMNENOS.png. DR help

Hi Yann,
Bringing this to you as you've been helpful in the past. I nominated some low-quality pics that I uploaded earlier this year for deletion. I was thinking that since it was at DR, which is the appropriate place for courtesy deletions after 7 days, it would be fine. Instead, all of them were speedy kept as "no valid reason for deletion" after a user voted "keep" for that reason. One of the DRs had a "delete" vote supporting my rationale, but it was kept anyway. Can you clarify here if I was in any way flawed in my rationale for deletion?

The DRs are:

The truck is a relatively common vehicle, and the one that I photographed is modified (aftermarket bumpers, aftermarket paint, aftermarket wheels, aftermarket lift, aftermarket tool box) and certainly not original. The other vehicles are common in traffic and I could easily take higher quality pictures without major glare issues. Either way, courtesy deletions of unused files are typically granted, so I don't understand why these were rejected. Cutlass^Ciera 15:54, 7 September 2026 (UTC)
