There is no freedom of panorama for 3D artworks in the US. Note that I didn't include all images in the category. I excluded old photos (before 1989) and the ones were the artworks are likely below the threshold of originality or can be considered de minimis.

Some of these floats, no objection to the nomination. But others don't seem necessary for deletion:

There is absolutely nothing copyright protected in the photo File:Budweiser Clydesdales, St. Louis, Missouri (33625293774).jpg , STRONG KEEP on that one. A similar strong keep position for File:Pasadena Mayor Terry Tornek (32337710944).jpg
Given that commons currently holds File:Los Angeles Lakers logo.svg as not falling below the copyright threshold, File:Rose Parade - 2016-01-01 (24181294805).jpg does not have prominent artistic elements.
none of the focal-point elements of the photo File:ROSE PARADE 2017 (31217574634).jpg are complex and copyright-able
The main focal-point element off the float in File:Odd Fellows and Rebekahs - Through The Ages (33198395892).jpg is a simple gazebo: a structural form that is long commonplace, and not copy-right protected. Beyond that, its a largely a non-complex assortment of topiary, and topiary (due to being organic and organically-changing) is often difficult to assert copyright over
File:A Century of NHL Greatness (31498070033).jpg lacks complex forms. Main elements are block letters and digits, and simple geometric forms. Too simple to assert copyright.

Comment I have my doubts about the premise here. I'm not aware of any U.S. case ever ruling that a photo of a parade float infringed copyright. I suspect we may be extrapolating from case law on sculpture in a way that a judge quite likely would not.
