- Your request here is unclear (to the point that I'd reject it). You are a public figure. You run an Instagram and advertise as a public speaker. This photograph is several years old and is in no obvious way controversial. There is no 'personal data' here. It is not 'illegal' in any evident manner.
- If you would prefer a more recent photo to be used in articles instead, then that's a positive improvement to Wikipedia and everyone would support that. Weak delete: It is unclear if user Mansol is actually the author of the image. For one, it's low quality (a higher quality upload can be seen in this article; immediate) and has been cropped (an uncropped photo can be seen here; immediate). The latter website has a link below the photo to Silvia Leal's website. Although this link is unavailable to me for some reason, I find it likely this photo was taken from Leal's website without permission and uploaded to Commons.- For what it's worth, I have found already free images and videos of her here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, etc., etc., so we wouldn't be losing much. – Howardcorn33 (💬) 21:31, 16 August 2026 (UTC)

Delete per Howardcorn33's lines of reasoning. Regarding the metadata, that would be deleted (albeit reversibly) along with the image. For the category (intentional redlink), I'd say that having a PhD cum laude in sociology counts as being a sociologist even if that isn't her current job title.
