    Svenska: En första generations Ak 5D. Ursprungligen en av 25 st. Ak 5 som anskaffades och modifierades av Försvarets Materialverk (FMV).

    Kommentar av FMV:

    "Detta är första varianten av Ak 5D. FMV anskaffade 25 st. 1998 eller 1999. 1999 genomförde FMV tekniska försök på Vapenavdelningens försöksplats i Ursvik. Denna första version är i princip en kortad Ak 5 med siktesskena svetsad på lådan. Senare versioner av Ak 5D hade fler modellspecifika komponenter. Siktet är ett lågförstorande sikte med optik från Hensoldt i ett hus tillverkat av Gevärsfaktoriet i Eskilstuna. Siktet fanns även med 3x förstoring. I princip alla vapen ur denna försöksserie skrotades eller byggdes om till atrapper."

    Vapnet donerades av FMV till Armémuseum i November 2001, och tillhör museets samlingar.
