Thanks for uploading File:IAEA ICSC Working Group on Standards of Conduct Meeting, Vienna, April 2024, 14.jpg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.
If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{self|cc-zero}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.) If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there. Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you. |

Hi, could you please clarify the situation within this category? There are two meetings that have number 1695, and there is also Category:1672nd IAEA Board of Governors Meeting (5 June 2023), which is not inside of Category:IAEA Board of Governors meetings in 2023 and I'm not even sure if it should be, because numbers just don't seem to fit. I'm too confused by all of this, but maybe you are able to fix this mess. Cheers, Mikinisk (talk) 20:24, 19 July 2025 (UTC)
- A mistake by me when I created the category. I used the wrong date, and forgot to add a redirect when I corrected it. Fixed it now.
I also added categories to the 1672nd meeting, it's now incorporated with the rest. Kaiketsu (talk) 20:57, 19 July 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks! Mikinisk (talk) 10:01, 21 July 2025 (UTC)
Category:Vienna photographs taken on YYYY-MM-DD
Hello Kaiketsu! Thank you for your edits and moving my images to the right category of date taken by location. My custom template includes the correct template for the location (eg. Austria) if applicable. As my custom template also collects the information about the federal State and will auto-sorted the image once the category is created (the template will sort the images into the right subcategory if it exists).
If my images include location information (eg. "Austria" and "Vienna") the template will check if Category:Vienna photographs taken on YYYY-MM-DD exists, sort it in there if so, but if not, the image will be sorted in Category:Austria photographs taken on YYYY-MM-DD.
I included this feature today (19:37, 21 July 2025 (UTC)) so you weren't able to see it until now (your edits weren't wrong). However, I always designed the template for that purpose in mind, but never had any real need for or the motivation to include this feature until your changes. So thanks for giving me the motivation to enable the feature!
Going forward, you only need to create the category of the federal state and the images will be auto sorted (at least my images). Note that the image does may not show up right away and the category appears to empty for some time. The image description page will however contain the right value. (see Austria photographs taken on 2022-06-28 and Vienna photographs taken on 2022-06-28 as example - there was no change needed to move eg. Cross outside the parish church Maria Hietzing in Vienna, Austria-narrow PNr°1005.jpg)
If you find any problematic image, pleas let me know. Kind regards --D-Kuru (talk) 19:37, 21 July 2025 (UTC)
Vienna photographs taken on ...
Hello Kaiketsu, Categories such as XY photographs taken on YY-MM-DD should only contain photographs, no other categories of events etc. So please sort e.g. categories of meetings in the relevant months categories (or keep them there, if they are already there) and sort just the photographs of those meetings into the relevant Vienna photographs taken on ... category. Thank you. Best regards Eweht (talk) 21:26, 27 July 2025 (UTC)
